Vote for This Month’s Favorite
Three exceptional photos, one from each category, are selected each month for a community vote. After carefully examining the pictures on this page, pick your favorite and fill out the form. Each member may only cast one ballot. We want you to think about both technical control and narrative impact: does the image convey a mood or idea? Does the composition direct the viewer's gaze? Is exposure used carefully? It is acceptable if you change your mind after giving the pictures another glance; just sit with them and choose the one that most appeals to you.
Fairness is important to us. Filenames are anonymised to lessen bias. Campaigning for submissions outside of this page is not permitted. In the live conversation, constructive criticism is appreciated, however during the voting period, do not identify the creator. A group of moderators breaks ties by giving succinct notes outlining their choices. Winning photos are shown in the Gallery along with a brief description.
